History of Israel

Israel's rich history encompasses over 4,100 years of convenants, conquests, captivities, kings, oppressions, dispersion, and, finally, statehood.  Class participants will walk through the biblical history of Israel, the dispersion after the Roman conquest, as well as modern day Middle East conflicts.  You will enjoy seeing, hearing, and learning about this unique nation.

The nation of Israel has fascinated historians for over 4,000 years.  Today we can see and hear about that history and it's effects on modern Israel.  Jerusalem is the home of three monothesitic religions whose holy sites and archeological evidence can be seen through this popular visual and verbal tour of Israel.  You will understand more clearly the nation and it's modern influence in the world.
